manufactures a broad range of additives used in the formulation of high
solids, waterborne, conventional and powder coatings,
including:
Nacure® and K-Cure® Acid and Blocked Acid Catalysts: The industry's broadest line of catalysts for amino crosslinked, thermoset coatings. K-Flex® Polyester Polyols: Used primarily as modifying resins for acrylic, alkyd, epoxy and polyester formulations. K-Flex® Urethane Diols: Typically used as modifiers for hydroxy and carboxy functional resins in combination with amino crosslinkers or isocyanate resins for high solids and waterborne systems. K-Kat® Catalysts: Unique catalysts for urethanes based on organometallic chemistry offering formulators an alternative to conventional tin catalysts while providing enhancement of physical and performance properties. Nacorr® Rust & Corrosion Inhibitors: Metal and amine salts of modified sulfonic acids used to impart corrosion inhibition in solvent-borne, aqueous and powder coatings. K-Sperse® Dispersing Agents: Used for dispersing organic and inorganic pigments in non-aqueous and solvent-free compositions. Recent additions to the product line include a free flowing powder additive and an aqueous pigment wetting/dispersing vehicle. K-Stay 501: A metal sulfonate rheology control agent that is highly effective in preventing or reducing sag in conventional and high solids thermoset coatings. K-STAY 501 can also be used to improve the sag resistance of many other types of coatings, such as air dry alkyds, urethanes and epoxies.
